The Bowlus Fine Arts Center celebrated its 60th anniversary Saturday evening with a dinner, reception, live and silent auctions, and a concert featuring the Canadian tribute band Abbamania. The event drew a full house. The silent auction offered a chance to score experiences such as trips, fine art and other items. A live auction during the concert offered several trips and opportunities, such as naming rights to the Bowlus “green room” for visiting artists.
