Above, survivors and caregivers take a lap around the courthouse square Saturday at the annual Allen County Relay for Life. The event raised more than $27,500 for cancer research, support and education though the American Cancer Society. An auction brought in more than $1,400. Eight teams participated, while a ninth team raised money but didnt attend. Although attendance was down slightly, organizers reported a successful event that met its financial goals.
