South State Street was closed to traffic Wednesday morning while crews cleared wreckage of a two-vehicle accident just south of the Elm Creek Bridge.
A northbound pickup collided with a southbound car, with the impact dislodging the pickup’s front tire. Drivers involved in the accident, who suffered no apparent injury, were not identified by press time.
