Kansans reported more sexual assaults, domestic violence and stalking to the police in 2018, according to a report from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
Compared to the previous year, its a 6% increase in domestic violence incidents, a 9% increase in rapes and a 27% increase in stalking incidents.
But the numbers dont necessarily reflect an increase in those crimes being committed, KBI spokeswoman Melissa Underwood said.
