On the list of entertainers for the Allen County Fair  is a mother-daughter performance.
Sara and Katie Lott will perform on the free stage Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
Sara, 31, who will also be singing the national anthem at the Mutton Busting rodeo Friday and Saturday night, has had the same duty at the Chautauqua County fair in Sedan.
“It is a huge honor to sing the national anthem,” she said.
She and Katie, 12, will be getting ready for their performance  by staying hydrated in the midst of all the hot weather.
Sara said she will be singing a lot of “oldies but goodies,” such as songs from Patsy Cline, The Judds and Etta James. She said she has never done a performance without singing “Broken Wing” by Martina McBride.
Katie, targeting the younger crowd, will be singing songs from Adele.
Though this will be fun for Sara and Katie, what they are most looking forward to is taking away the “neat memory as a mother-daughter (event),” Sara said.
