The Prairie Dell 4-H Club met Dec. 2 at Heartland Meadows for some Christmas fun.
Lisa Wicoff talked about the correct wording needed when making a motion. Club members practiced making motions and it was moved and seconded to have a cookie baking event on Jan 6 at 2 p.m. The cookie bake will be in cooperation with the educational tour, details will be posted to the club Facebook page when arrangements are made.
Emilia Wilkerson shared her forestry book and showed how to press a leaf in her leaf press.
Luke Wicoff demonstrated how to make a gumdrop Christmas tree and club members and residents made and some ate their sugar creations at the end of the meeting.
Club members and residents played Christmas BINGO at the conclusion of the meeting and everyone went home with prizes.
The next meeting will be Jan. 6, 2 p.m., at the Riverside Park community building. Talks will be given by Kahlan Roloff and Jackson Wilks.
