Iola police officers are investigating a reported rape that occurred the morning of Nov. 22 in the 300 block of South Second Street.
In a report made public Wednesday, officers said a male suspect forced his way into the residence to commit the rape.
The suspect took steps to conceal his identity, Police Chief Jared Warner said.
