FREDONIA — A 21-year-old Fredonia man faces aggravated kidnapping and domestic battery charges after officers said a woman was reportedly forced into a vehicle early Wednesday.
The Fredonia Police Department reported the arrest of Aden Coats after officers executed a search warranty in the 800 block of North 13th Street Wednesday.
The female, who officers originally thought was a juvenile, was safely located at the residence. Coats was taken into custody at the scene.
The arrest capped an intense search after officers said the woman was forced into a white sport utility vehicle in the 1000 block of Quincy.
Tips from the public led officers to execute the search warrant a few blocks away.
