The Iola United Methodist Women began their May 24 meeting by singing with residents at Windsor Place before going to Calvary UMC to meet.
Barbara Hafer shared from the prayer calendar about a musical group in Frankfort, Germany, that followed their concerts with mission work.
Members agreed to suspend meetings for the rest of the summer, reconvening Sept. 27.
In August they will host an ice cream fundraiser during an Iola Municipal Band concert.
For the September meeting, Alice Hood will provide the program.
