A massive search for a Chanute woman who was reported missing overnight  ended at noon today on a good note.
Missing was Sheila Lynn Bohrer, 35.
She was found by  officers in Neosho County.
Sheriff Tom Williams said Bohrer was driving north on U.S. 169 just southeast of Humboldt when she called a friend in Chanute. Bohrer was en route to Iola to start a shift at Gates Corporation.
Bohrer did not report for work and was not heard from  after that.
Williams said he intended to follow up on the investigation now that Bohrer has been found.
The morning search included a CodeRED alert sent to Allen County residents.
Other efforts to find Bohrer include aerial surveillance, which started shortly after 8 a.m. and assistance from Iola and Neosho County officers and Allen County Public Works crews.
