Robert Andrew Dunlap died May 6, 2026 at his home.
He was born April 23, 1939, to Robert F. Dunlap and Hazel Marie (Andrews) Dunlap at St. John’s Hospital in Iola.
He and Yvonne Christy were married Aug. 2, 1959. They had three children: Robert Christy, Douglas Matthew and Bryan Andrew.
Andy served in the Kansas National Guard.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years and sons Chris Dunlap (Jo), Doug, and Bryan (Rachelle).
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Wesley United Methodist Church in Iola, Kansas, at 10 a.m. Friday, May 15.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Boy Scouts of America, the Iola Symphony or Wesley United Methodist Church.
