Blanche N. Boman, 85, Las Cruces, N.M., died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014, at University Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. Blanche was born July 28, 1929, in Moran, to Archie E. Sr. and Ocie E. Dickenson Boman.
Blanche attended business school in Topeka, and in 1960 relocated to Las Cruces, where she was employed by the Department of Army at White Sands Missile Range as a contracting officer. She was a member of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees (N.A.R.F.E.)
Survivors include her niece, Kathy J. Dunn, and husband Douglas of Flagstaff, Ariz.. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Pearl G. Boman-Schafer; three brothers, Archie E. Boman Jr., Gerald Boman and Charles Boman and wife Jean; as well as a nephew, Gary Boman.
At her request cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time.
Arrangements are by Baca’s Funeral Chapels and Sunset Crematory, 300 E. Boutz Rd., Las Cruces, N.M.
