De’Raun Laine Walls, 3-month-old son of Derrick and Christy (Bartholomew) Walls of Iola, died Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
He was born March 6, 2012 in Iola.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three siblings, Myriah Renee Walls, 8, Maliyah Lynn Walls, 7, and Derrick Lamon Walls, Jr., 20 months; grandparents Towana and Rick Hadley of Chanute, Kendall Bartholomew of Eureka and Linda Becker of Piqua; great-grandparents Drew Walls of Chanute, Lois Pierson of Great Bend and Verna Owens of Iola.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Highland Cemetery in Iola.
Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel of Iola, is in charge of arrangements.
