Dixie Mader, 73, Bush City, passed away on Sept. 1, 2014, at her home after succumbing to cancer, surrounded by her family, friends, and cat.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Garnett. Burial will follow in Holy Angels Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Because of Dixie’s love for all things four-legged, donations will be made to the Humane Society of the United States and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
