Donna Faye (Newman) Miller Wright passed away from natural causes on May 13, 2025, in Kaysville, Utah. She was born Dec. 19, 1939, in Iola, to William Newman and Estella Faye (Coker) Newman.
In 1962, she married Roy R. Miller Sr. and together they had one son, Roy Miller Jr. She worked for Southwestern Bell in Topeka, Kansas, for 34 years and retired in 2004 and later moved to live with her son.
She was the youngest of six siblings and was preceded in death by four of her siblings: Rosie Powers of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Kathleen (Newman) Garner of Iola; Floyd Newman of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and William Newman of Iola.
Her ashes will be spread at 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 25, in the family plot at Highland Cemetery.
Donna found great joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandsons, who brought light to her later years. Her life was a testament to resilience and grace, and she will be dearly missed by her loved ones.
She is survived by her son, Roy R. Mill Jr. (Susan); two grandsons, Zachary Bryce Miller and Marcus William Miller of Kaysville, Utah; and sister, Helen (Newman) Ambler of Iola.
