Jerry Allen Bland Jr., 17, of Pittsburg and formerly of Iola died Sunday, April 25, 2010, at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo.
He was born Dec. 8, 1992, in Iola, to Jerry Allen Bland Sr. and Natalie Elaine Fuller.
He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Zolene Bland Sr., Iola, and Natalie Fuller-Rose, Girard; four sisters, Kurstie Bland Harris and her husband, Kevin, Weir, and Jerrica, Kysha and Jacinda Bland, all of Emporia; a stepbrother, Dawson King, Iola; grandparents, Orva and Virginia Bland Sr. and Frank and Jan Fuller, Iola, and Sheila and Earl Forman, Denver, Colo.; and a great-grandmother, Dorothy Reed, Gas.
A brother, Levi Jeriah Bland, two uncles, Orva M. “Sonny” Bland Jr. and Jimmy Dale Bland, a nephew, Peyton Michael Harris, and his step-father, Jesse Rose, died earlier.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Gas City Cemetery.
