Kenny Vest

Kenneth “Kenny” Vest, age 60, of Iola, passed away June 4, 2026. He was born on Dec. 20, 1965, in Iola, to Karl Ann Vest and George Leonard Vest Sr. and grew up in LaHarpe as one of nine children. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ann and George; brothers, Wendell Vest and George Leonard Vest Jr.; and sister, Cecelia Shears.

Surviving are his sisters, Ruth Seeber, Sandra White, Amy Ludlum, Leona McNeil, and Jodie Mantooth.

Cremation has taken place.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
