Larry Lee Ray, 63, Osawatomie, died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, at Olathe Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 19, 1947, in Garnett to Walter and Pauline Ray.
He lived in Colony for 45 years before moving to Osawatomie. He married Patty Manly on May 18, 1996, at First United Methodist Church in Osawatomie, where they had been members for several years. He was employed by Tri-Ko for about 20 years, during which time he worked at IGA, Louisburg Cider Mill and mowed lawns. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas City Royals fan.
He is survived by his wife, Patty, of the home; two brothers, William, Wichita, and Mark, Iola; and nephews Joseph and his wife, Allison, and Kevin.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Osawatomie.
