Elizabeth Earlene (Liz) Hibbs, age 67, of Gas, Kan., passed away Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, at her home. Liz was born April 8, 1958, in Nevada, Mo., to Earl Cornell and Donna J. (Alkire) Cornell.
Liz married Tony Hibbs on Feb. 18, 1989. She was a homemaker.
Liz was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Liz is survived by son, Jonathan (Sarah) Hibbs; sister, Susie Cornell; and brothers, Greg Cornell, Steve (Susan) Cornell, and Mike (Janet) Cornell.
Cremation will take place, and no services are planned. Inurnment will be in the Gas Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Wings of Warriors and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola.
