Marilyn Holloway, 66, of Kansas City, Mo., died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010.
She was born Feb. 17, 1944, in Garnett, to Dewey and Maude (Cushing) Holloway. She went to school in Lone Elm and Kincaid. She worked as a nurse from 1963 to 2009 at various hospitals, the last being Children’s Mercy Hospital for 21 years.
She is survived by a brother, Neil Holloway, Lone Elm; sister-in-law, Katie Holloway; brother-in-law, Jim Yarbrough; nine nieces and nephews; 17 great- nieces and nephews; and five great-great- nieces and nephews.
Two brothers, Lawrence and Earl Holloway, a sister, Marjorie Yarbrough, sister-in-law, Mary Jane Holloway, and great-nephew, Lance Holloway, died earlier.
Funeral services will be at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church of North Kansas City, Mo., at 2100 Howell St. Those attending are asked to wear Chiefs red.
