In reference to the Prairie Spirit Trail article — just why do we need more trail?
The one we have now ends or starts in a lovely little park with shade trees, a nice place to park and playground equipment complete with trash barrels.
Has anyone used what we have now, from here in Iola to Ottawa?
Why put out more money to buy land at $138,500? Would this amount not deduct from our tax base?
Don’t people realize that all this grant money is our own federal money? I’m sure there are better places to spend it. Then we still have to spend $110,000 to move…
