Forty Allen Community College athletes earned Academic All American status during the 2018-19 school year.
Of those athletes, 15 earned first team honors by maintaining a 4.0 grade-point average six from the baseball team, five who played softball, three womens soccer players and one from the volleyball squad.
Nine Red Devils were named to the second team for keeping their GPA between 3.80 and 3.99; and 16 were third team All-Americans, for maintaining a GPA between 3.60 and 3.79.
Team GPAs also were recognized. Allens softball team held a cumulative 3.48 GPA; baseballs was 3.43; womens soccer, 3.38; volleyball, 3.22; and womens basketball, 3.11.
