ACCC women lose at NOC

TONKAWA, Okla. — Allen County Community College’s women finished a disappointing first semester of basketball Saturday.
The Red Devils lost 89-41 to host Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa. The loss puts the ACCC women at 2-11.
Allen County is 0-2 in Jayhawk Eastern Division play.  It opens the second half of the season — all Jayhawk East games — at home Jan. 5 against Kansas City, Kan., Community College.
NOC rolled to a 46-19 halftime lead. It held a 52 to 34 edge in rebounding.The Lady Mavericks made 17 steals, while Allen County turned the ball over 27 times.
Nicole Swick had 16 points for the Red Devils followed by Danielle Best with nine points on three three-pointers. Kynesha Nisbett had six points.
Aeriss McNeese scored six points and had five rebounds. Queona Walker dished out six assists, had two steals and scored one point.
Jazmynn Johnson added three points and Rackell Goldson scored two points.
