The Allen County Special Olympics sports team competed in the Girard Unified Cornhole Tournament. It was the first unified cornhole tournament put on in the state of Kansas.
Ty Johnson threw with a partner from Columbus, Macey Allison, and won gold in two games with scores of 21-4 and 21-10.
Casey Riebel and his father also won first place taking a couple of games by scores of 21-13 and 20-10.
Ian Webber and Lawrence Riebel each placed third after falling 20-10 and 21-10.
