Youngsters are invited to test their soccer ball marksmanship Saturday as part of the annual Iola Elks Soccer Shoot.
The soccer shoot runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Colborn Park, north of the Iola High School tennis courts.
The competition is open to children 13 and under, based on their ages as of Aug. 1.
The soccer shoot will be divided into four age groups, girls and boys, for those 7 and under, 8-9, 10-11 and 12-13.
Winning participants will advance to a district soccer shoot Sept. 29 in Fort Scott.
