When Iola Middle School’s girls basketball teams take the court Monday, they’ll do so to benefit area families in need.
Admission prices for Monday’s games against Royster Middle School of Chanute have been waived in favor of a canned food drive.
Adults will be granted entry by bringing in two cans of food. Students can get in with one canned food item.
The food will be donated to local food pantries for the holiday season.
