Jocelyn Sheets, age 64, died Monday, Aug. 22, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., where she worked as a copy editor and paginator for the Southeast Missourian.
She previously had worked as a sports editor at the Newton Daily News in Newton, Iowa, and at The Iola Register.
Her sister, Stephanie McDonald of Richmond, said a service in Iola is in the planning stages.
