The Register reporter misspelled a word in a quote from Kansas State University head men’s basketball coach Frank Martin in Thursday’s article of his talk with Iola High and Iola Middle schools students and USD 257 teachers.
The quote should have said, “Kids are kids and we have to expect (not except) more from them than we do.”
The Register regrets the error.
