The Humboldt Cubs defense was led by linebacker Dagen Goodner this season.
Goodner led the Cubs with 112 tackles.
The sophomore finished with nearly twice as many tackles as the next highest Cub and that earned him a First-Team All-Tri-Valley League spot.
Goodner was also third on the team with 10 tackles for loss.
“It was exciting for me as a coach, to have six all-league selections for our football team,” Humboldt coach Logan Wyrick said. “We were a very young team this year, and to still have that number of selections says a lot about our team this season.”
Goodner will return next season to lead the Humboldt defense, but he will have plenty of help with defensive tackle Noah Johnson and defensive end Tucker Hurst back after earning All-Tri-Valley League Honorable Mention spots this season.
Hurst, a sophomore, led the  team with seven sacks and 14 tackles for loss. He also had two fumble recoveries.
Johnson finished with 13 tackles for loss. The junior had 53 total tackles.
