HUMBOLDT — Humboldt’s baseball team swept Oswego in a doubleheader Friday improve to 14-0 on the season.

The Cubs won game one, 13-2. Pearish pitched four innings giving up two runs, one earned, and two walks. He also added eight strikeouts.
Caleb Vanatta and Zach Vanatta both went 2-for3 with two runs scored and two RBIs. Hunter Murrow went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI. Kason Siemens went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI. Jacob Carpenter and Caleb D’Armond both had a base hit. Jake Haviland had two runs scored.
Humboldt took game two 9-1. Haviland pitched five innings giving up a run, three hits and two walks. He had four strikeouts.
Caleb Vanatta went 1-for-3 with a run scored and three RBIs. Carpenter had two RBIs and two runs scored. Siemens had a base hit, two runs scored and an RBI. Murrow had a base hit and two runs scored. Alex Murrow, Tyler Korte and Cory Whitcomb each added a hit.
