HUMBOLDT — Tim VanGotten, Brandon Weide, John Allen and Jeremy Willard reached victory lane Friday night at Humboldt Speedway.
Two out of those four lead their divisions at the midway mark of the Speedway’s racing season. The mid-season division champions were awarded trophies Friday.
Weide leads the field in factory stock. Willard is the mid-season champion in pure stock.
Justin Folk claimed the mid-season championship for the modified division. Levi McGowen is Humboldt’s mid-season leader in the B-Mods.
On the track Friday night, Weide did not win his heat race but came across the finish line first in the factory stock feature race. John Rosson ran second followed by Brandon Tindle, Dustin Lawrence and Tim Phillips to round out the top five.
Willard went the same road Friday, not winning a heat race but capturing the pure stock feature race victory. Eddie Coulter placed second and Brandon Rowland was third. Laura Ramey took fourth and Tony Morris had fifth.
In the modified division, Allen outran the field for the feature win. Rodney Sigg was second followed by Scott Daniels, Paden Phillips and Justin Folk.
VanGotten captured the win in the B-Mod feature race. Riley Whitworth ran second and Jay Lamons Jr. took third. Jon Westhoff was fourth and McGowen took fifth.
