HUMBOLDT — Quickly becoming a fan favorite at Humboldt Speedway, Laura Ramey captured her second feature race of the season Friday night.
Ramey drove from the middle of the pack to win the pure stock event. Stetson Deets ran second with Jeremy Willard in third place. Jody Chaplin and Matt Habiger rounded out the top five.
In the guest spot of the night were the vintage cars again at the Speedway. Keith Simmons won the 10-lap feature race.
Travis Moyer came across in second place followed by Pat Trustler, Ron Martin, Russ Moyer and Brandon EdMinston.

There’s only three more points races left in the season. Many drivers are battling for the division titles.
Tyler James drove a flawless race taking another factory stock victory. Derrek Wilson placed second with Dustin Lawrence in third. Brandon Tindle finished fourth and Patrick Kay was fifth.
In the B-mods, Tim VanGotten spoiled Jay Lamons Jr.’s night. Lamons was in front until five laps to go when VanGotten made his move on turns three and four.
Lamons held on for second with Levi McGowen finishing third. Jimmie Davis was fourth and Jerry Kustanborter took fifth.
Johnny Bone took the checkered flag in the highly contested modified feature race. John Allen placed second and Terry Beckham II finished third. Brian Bolin ran fourth and Jesse Folk Jr. was fifth.
This Friday’s races begin at 8 p.m. Gates open at 6.
