The Allen Red Devil men’s basketball team ran into some struggles over the weekend, falling in both games of their Red Devil Classic.
The Red Devils are now 1-2 on the season.
Allen County started off on Friday with a narrow loss to conference foe Labette, 84-80.
The Red Devils led by six going into halftime but were outscored by 10 in the second half to lose by six.
Sophomore Jordan Marshall had 19 points on 6-11 shooting to lead the way for Allen while freshmen Ahmad Winston and Darius Love each chipped in 17. Winston scored his 17 points off the bench.
Sophomore Jacob Patterson had nine rebounds while Marshall had four blocks. Marshall and Cordy Winston each had three steals.
The Red Devils took on Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa and fell 91-61. Individual stats were not available for this game.
The Red Devils will take on Oklahoma Wesleyan University JV on Wednesday.

THE LADY DEVILS split over the weekend at the Red Devil Classic beating Missouri Baptist JV and falling to Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa.
The ACC women are now 2-1 so far this season.
The Lady Devils started off their weekiend by drubbing Missouri Baptist JV 73-35.
Allen led 38-15 going into halftime and added 15 more to their lead in the second half.
Kamri Summons and Jakira Wilson each led the way with 12 points while Akia Andrews and Alecia Verge each tallied 10.
Kori Seas and Andrews each had a team-high six rebounds while Summons and Wilson had five steals. Tamera Shaver and Destiny Pittman led the way with four assists.
The Lady Devils then fell narrowly to Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa 79-72.
Allen County trailed by three after the first quarter but cut the lead to just one going into halftime, 36-35.
Northern Oklahoma stretched the lead to two after the third quarter and then outscored the Lady Devils by five in the fourth to put the game out of reach.
Individual stats were not available for this game.
The Lady Devils will travel to Labette on Wednesday before opening up conference play at home versus Coffeyville on Saturday.
