ST. PAUL — A tough night shooting the ball and handling the basketball proved too much for Southern Coffey County High’s girls Tuesday.
The Lady Titans dropped a 55-42 decision to host St. Paul High’s Indians. They are 13-3 for the season and head to Olpe, ranked No. 1 in Class 2A, Thursday.
Southern Coffey County was 15 of 44, 34 percent, from the field. St. Paul cashed in 22 of 32 free throw attempts, which included a 14 of 20 stint at the line in the fourth quarter.
St. Paul had a 27-22 halftime lead.
Kaitlin Meyer scored 13 points for the Lady Titans.
