The Lady Titans entered the tournament as the two seed to one seed and host Chetopa.

Those wins advanced the Lady Titans go against one seed Chetopa. A strong offensive performance by the Lady Titans put them ahead of the Lady Green Hornets 2-1 (25-20, 14-25, 25-16).
Two Lady Titans recorded double-doubles including Kasprzak who had 19 kills and 15 assists. Lyons had 13 kills and 21 assists.
Alumbaugh continued to dominate at the net defensively, putting down six blocks. Lyons also had three digs.
“I was really proud of the girl’s effort on Saturday,” head coach Jeff True said. “We beat a very good Chetopa team in the championship. It showed a lot of determination in set three to pull out the win. I’m looking forward to a great week of practice and the trip to Hays.”
Southern Coffey County will open the state tournament with pool play on Friday at Gross Memorial Coliseum in Hays.
They are the seven seed and will open with Sylvan Grove-Sylvan-Lucas Unified at 9:30 and will take on Coldwater-South Central and Atwood Rawlins County following that.
If they are one of the top two teams in their pool, they will advance on to bracket play on Saturday starting at 10 a.m.
