Marmaton Valley girls fall at Oswego

OSWEGO — A slow start doomed the Marmaton Valley High’s girls basketball team in a 36-28 loss to Oswego.
The Wildcats only mustered two points in the first quarter, scored by Kyla Drake. Oswego scored eight points to take an early lead that they held the rest of the game.
At the half, Oswego led 17-12. In the second half, Marmaton was outscored 19-16. Drake led the Wildcats with 10 points and Mackenzie Tynon followed with eight points.
