MORAN — Marmaton Valley Junior High’s Wildcat girls beat visiting Pleasanton Junior High in A-team volleyball action Thursday.
The Wildcats defeated the Blu-Jays 25-10, 25-15. Kaysha Elmenhorst served up nine points and Cheyenne English had eight service points.
Also for Marmaton Valley, Emily Boyd had five service points followed by Tessa Olson serving four. Shauna Knight had two service points and MaKenzie Harrison had one point.
Pleasanton won the B-team match 25-20, 21-25, 15-13. Misty Storrer led the Wildcats at the service line with 10 points and English had seven service points.
Kyla Drake served up four points and MacKenzie had three points. Elmenhorst had two service points while Tanna Lutz and Molly Hamlin each served up one point.
Marmaton Valley won the C-team match 15-11, 15-8. Storrer had 10 service points and Drake had eight. Kendra McNutt served up two points and Nalea Alexander had one service point.
