Marmaton Valley splits at Chetopa

Marmaton Valley volleyball split their matches on Tuesday at Chetopa.
The Wildcats swept Uniontown 26-24 and 25-20 before falling in two sets to the powerhouse host Green Hornets 25-21 and 28-26.
With the split, Marmaton Valley moves to 7-16 and 4-5 in league play.
Versus Uniontown, Patricia Outlan had eight kills, five points and a block, Bailey Griffith had eight kills, Karlie Stephens had five points, Kayla Ard had three kills, Paige Becker had four points and Aly Ard had four points.
Outlan was even better versus Chetopa, recording 13 kills and four blocks.
Griffith had six kills, seven points and a block and Ard had five points.
Marmaton Valley will travel to Uniontown on Saturday for their tournament before taking on Southeast-Cherokee and Crest on Tuesday.
