After a rough start to the season in Independence, the Iola tennis team bounced back in a big way in their home invitational on Thursday.
Iola went 11-1 on the day, dispatching teams from Independence, Parsons and Columbus.
Junior No. 1 singles players Elijah Fawson went 3-0, defeating Sam Grice of Independence 8-6, Andrew Coberly of Columbus 8-0 and Caleb Valdez of Parsons 8-3.
