GARDEN CITY — Marmaton Valley High’s golf team ventured to Southwind Golf Course to partake Tuesday in the Class 1A State Tournament.
Mike Swift-Plaschka recorded the Wildcats’ lowest score of the day with a 104, good for 38th overall. He was followed by Mitch Covey in 51st with a 107, Joe Jefferis in 58th with a 111 and Lane Hamm in 72nd with a 120.
Marmaton Valley finished 11th as a team at 442.
Centralia had the top team score at 372, and the top individual with Ryan Vernon’s 73.
