RICHMOND — Marmaton Valley High’s track teams were short-handed Friday but opened the 2011 season at the Central Heights High Invitational.
Rachel Boyd took sixth in the girls’ shot put with a throw of 25 feet, 53⁄4 inches.
Zack Louk had the top performance of the day. He earned the silver medal in the 800-meter run in 2 minutes, 12 seconds.
Chase Dudley was third in the triple jump at 37’91⁄2”.
David Harris finished fifth in the 100-meter dash in 12.69 seconds. Carlos Gonzales was sixth in the 200-meter dash in 25.13.
Gonzales, Harris, Dudley and Zack English combined for a fourth-place finish in the 4×100-meter relay race. No time was available.
