MVJH girls lose to Oswego

MORAN  — Marmaton Valley Junior High’s girls fell behind visiting Oswego Middle School and never could catch up Monday.

Oswego led 12-7 by halftime on its way to a 29-20 win in A-team action.

Mackenzie Tynon scored eight points to lead Marmaton Valley. Lindsey McNeil and Misty Storrer each added five points. Ruby Mann had two points.

In the B-team game, Oswego edged out Marmaton Valley 18-17.

Storrer paced the Wildcats with five points and Kyla Drake had four points. Scoring two points each were NaLea Alexander, Mann, Aubrey Ard and Brooklynn Newman.
