Nelson Quarries sweeps doubleheader, Iola teams split with Chanute Comets

Nelson Quarries seems the team to beat in the Ponytail league after sweeping Wednesday's doubleheader and the Chanute Comets got some unexpected competition while splitting a three-team doubleheader at Riverside Park.

Iola teams split with Chanute, Nelson Quarries sweeps doubleheader

Although sparse in games, Wednesday’s Iola Recreation Department League games did not lack for action. Terry Sparks State Farm took their game against Chanute while Nelson Quarries took both games of a doubleheader against Sigg Motors.
