The Sunday afternoon deluge, and forecasts for more rain this week, have forced Iola Middle School officials to postpone the IMS Invitational, which had been set for Tuesday at Riverside Park.
The meet will be made up April 22, IMS boys track coach Terry Lower said.
In addition, Marmaton Valley High’s golf tournament scheduled for this afternoon at Cedarbrook Golf Course in Iola has been called off. No makeup date has been announced.
