After starting winless, the Iola Middle School volleyball team found the perfect formula for A-and-B team wins on Monday evening over Osawatomie.

The B team played four sets, winning 25-18, 25-11, 25-17, and dropping one set by a score of 12-25. The B bombers were led by Maddy McVey, who picked up eight aces, two assists, and two kills.

“Maddy has improved her game so much this season in both her skill and confidence,” head coach Terri Carlin said.
