CHENEY — Humboldt High’s Robbie Sellman capped his junior year, and third straight trip to the Class 3A state golf tournament, with a round of 78, good for 28th place at Cherry Oaks Golf Course.
The tournament featured a pair of familiar names for local sports enthusiasts.
Isaiah Grover, son of former Iola High principal David Grover, finished in 11th with a 78. His score tied him with Central Heights’ Matt Percy, son of IHS baseball coach Mark Percy.
Wichita Collegiate won the team title at 302, and had the top individual, Ian Trebilcock, who won a playoff with Titus Ewert of Hesston. Both shot a 71.
