Softball: Honors
Athletes from both Marmaton Valley and Yates Center were named to the All-Three Rivers League softball team.
Junior pitcher Karlie Stephens was Marmaton Valleys lone selection and was one of two unanimous first-team picks.
Stephens ended the year with a 4.15 ERA with an 8-8 record. She allowed 135 hits and 36 with 106 strikeouts.
At the plate, she batted .412, grabbing 21 hits, 18 RBIs and a home run.
Joining Stephens on the first team was Yates Center sophomore pitcher Maddie Collins.
Yates Center juniors Emma Chrisman and Jordan Weseloh earned honorable mention. Their season stats along with Collins were unavailable to the Register as of press time.
