Summer basketball camp for youngsters June 6-9

Girls and boys, grades 1-6, will have the opportunity to learn fundamental basketball skills from Iola High coaches and players.
Iola High head basketball coaches Becky Carlson and Bill Peeper are holding the Iola Fillies and Mustangs Young Basketball Camp June 6-9. Camp sessions are divided into age groups and are at different times and locations.
Camp fee is $20 per person or $35 if there are two campers from a family participating. The fee includes a camp T-shirt.
Boys and girls in first and second grade will be at the Iola Recreation Building in Riverside Park from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. each day. Both Carlson and Peeper will be teaching at this session along with IHS basketball players.
Carlson will conduct the camp sessions for girls grades 3-6 at Iola Middle School. That will be from 1-3 p.m. each day.
Peeper is teaching the camp sessions for boys grades 3-6 at Iola High School. That will be from 1-3 p.m. each day.
