Uniontown High’s Eagles went to Joplin, Mo., Friday and defeated McAuly Catholic 27-0. It was the Eagles’ first win of the season.

Yates Center High’s Wildcats were on the road also at Howard. The Wildcats record their first-ever eight-man football victory, 52-28, over West Elk High’s Patriots.
The win broke a 12-game losing streak by Wildcat teams. Yates Center went 0-9 in its last 11-man season a year ago.
