Wildcats earn split

ST. PAUL — Marmaton Valley High’s volleyball team split a pair of matches Tuesday, falling to host St. Paul and defeating Altoona-Midway.
In the 25-15, 25-19 loss to St. Paul, Kaysha Elmenhorst had seven points for the Wildcats. Mackenzie Tynon added eight kills and five blocks. Emily Meiwes added four kills.
Kaitlin Ensminger led the way in the Wildcats’ 25-19, 26-24 win over Altoona-Midway with 17 points. Meiwes added six points. Tynon had eight kills.
St. Paul won in three-sets over Marmaton Valley’s junior varsity, 17-25, 25-21, 18-16.
Kenzie Harrison had 14 points and a kill for the Wildcat JV. Shauna Knight added 12 points. Tessa Olson had eight points, 13 kills and two blocks. Tanna Lutz scored eight points, while Misty Storrer had six points and six kills. Alex Thomas added three points and a kill.
